Timeframe  features two ongoing bodies of work that investigate memory, illness, and the relationships we build in the spaces we create for learning and labor. Live Study  appears in its two forms -- as a series of oil portraits and related color studies and as an archive of 850 hours of live-streamed video documenting the artist’s painting sessions to date. The subjects of the paintings are Mandiberg’s former studio assistants surrounded by the instruments and technologies they used and imagery from projects they worked on. The exhibition includes the first chapters of this ongoing project, from 2004 to 2009, presented chronologically in clockwise order. The size of each portrait corresponds with the number of hours the assistant worked, and the pricing corresponds with the total amount they were paid. Saint Tuesday Open Wednesday, November 17th, 2021

Opening Wednesday, Nov 17: 24 Cortlandt Alley Wednesday - Sunday — 6PM - 2AM Saint Tuesday  will open this  Wednesday, November 17 . The cocktail cellar is located in Manhattan’s historic Tribeca neighborhood, adjacent to many of the city’s best contemporary art galleries. Guests enter through  24 Cortlandt Alley , a New York street that remains largely unchanged from when it was first constructed, an iconic remnant from the golden age of American industry. Once in the building, visitors descend a clandestine stairwell into the hotel’s cellar, dramatically refurbished as an intimate cocktail bar. A relic from the late Victorian Era in New York City, the bar’s name honors a tradition that hearkens back to the building’s original use as a button factory, when its workers would take Tuesdays off following their boisterous Monday nights.
