This will be Goldstein’s first exhibition with Denny Gallery. Goldstein, known for her fluid imagery and forms, which coil and curve, has recently shifted her practice beyond the traditional dimensions of painting, to explore shaped canvases which depict space and form evoking the human figure. She draws influences from architecture, furniture, textiles and other tangible objects which find bodily shapes as their nodal point for marking out space. Dustin Yellin: Cave Painting Opening: Sunday, April 30, 2023  1:00 PM – 8:00 PM On view: April 30 – June 3, 2023  Venus Over Manhattan 55 Great Jones Street New York, NY 10012 (New York, NY) –  Venus Over Manhattan  is pleased to present  Dustin Yellin: Cave Painting , a solo exhibition of new work by the New York-based artist Dustin Yellin which explores the interconnectivity of the natural world, humans, and our advancing technological landscape. Comprised of a series of new paintings,  Cave Painting  represents an important shift to painting for the artist whose practice in recent years has focused most notably on sculpture. An illustrated catalogue, published by the gallery, will be released in conjunction with the exhibition.
