                                                    Opening Wednesday, Nov 17:

24 Cortlandt Alley
Wednesday - Sunday — 6PM - 2AM

Saint Tuesday will open this Wednesday, November 17. The cocktail cellar is located in Manhattan’s historic Tribeca neighborhood, adjacent to many of the city’s best contemporary art galleries.

Guests enter through 24 Cortlandt Alley, a New York street that remains largely unchanged from when it was first constructed, an iconic remnant from the golden age of American industry. Once in the building, visitors descend a clandestine stairwell into the hotel’s cellar, dramatically refurbished as an intimate cocktail bar.

A relic from the late Victorian Era in New York City, the bar’s name honors a tradition that hearkens back to the building’s original use as a button factory, when its workers would take Tuesdays off following their boisterous Monday nights. Designed by Johnny McCormick (Smith & Mills, Five Leaves, Maison Premiere), Saint Tuesday features a small stage that will host nightly acts playing immigrant music from the turn of the century like Kaiso, Calypso, Klezmer, and Irish Traditional. A sidewalk vault, which extends a story above to the cellar ceiling, boasts a stunning live vertical garden of ivy and vine.

The bar’s general manager and head of the cocktail program is Chris Covey, a Milk & Honey alumnus who has also lent his deft touch on favorites like Sel Rose, Fig 19, Little Branch, Fresh Kills, Lantern’s Keep, and Weather Up. He and the skilled bar staff—all alumni of the Milk & Honey family and veterans of the NYC cocktail industry—bring his precision and adherence to simple recipes, fresh ingredients, and attention to detail to Saint Tuesday’s menu. Signature cocktails include the Goldfinch (Fino sherry, Cocchi Americano, fresh lemon, orange bitters, and soda) and The Suitcase (rye, Cynar, honey, salt, and chocolate bitters). Guests can also have a bespoke drink made to suit their particular taste by the trained bartenders. The full menu can be found
 here.

Owned and operated by Dream Logic Hospitality, Saint Tuesday is open for walk-ins, reservations (sainttuesdaynyc@gmail.com), and available for private events.
