President Obama and Assault Within The Military!
Research shows that there were nearly 6,000 reported cases of sexual assault within the military for this year. That is precisely an 8% jump from the reports of last year. This information was announced by the Pentagon on Wednesday of last week. Considering the percentage of the previous year Military Officials think this is good news. 1 in 10 people reported any assaults are alleged rape two years ago, while this year 1 in 4 came forward with reports. The fact that more service members were able to come and report these incidents they feel as if the members are more trustworthy to the system. My question is, Are they more trusting to the system or are they just tired of keeping it to themselves and they want to know that the system isn't going to let them down if they do report it?
