On September 29, 2018 Global Citizens Festival took place in Central Park. There were artists book for the event to perform on the stage as part of the festivities. One of the artist to perform is Cardi B. She wasted no time to hop on her Instagram and tell everyone that  she is doing her performance for free; the reason why she was doing the show was because Global Citizens is fighting for a bigger cause and when you believe in something you have to do something and fight for what you believe in. John Legend was also one of the performers for the event which comes as no surprise, with the heart that he has its natural for him to give back without the attention attached. There were other celebrities in the crowd like Angela Simmons who was there in support. She was spotted in the crowd amongst the viewers. Forward Union Fair 2018 Sat & Sun, Sept 29-30, 12-6PM Free & Open to the Public Red Bull Arts New York 220 W 18th Street We invite you to join us for the third annual  Forward Union Fair , a social action fair bringing together diverse activist organizations, topical art installations, and public programs. The fair will be held at  Red Bull Arts New York  this Saturday and Sunday,  September 29-30  from  12-6pm . Forward Union is a coalition-building initiative, connecting social justice organizations with artists and creative communities. This year, the fair will focus on themes of civic  engagement, voter education, immigration, gun control, and healthcare , through art installations and free public programming.
