The first song i heard for 2014 with a rapper addressing young black men losing their lives in the streets was T.I the name of the song is New National Anthem featuring Skylar Grey. T.I, Nelly, Talib Kweli, Young Jeezy and J. Cole were all vocal supporters for justice of Micheal "Mike" Brown. He speaks on the pain that everyone is going through as a nation. It speaks clearly about the racism that is taking place in this country, addressing issues such as the shooting that took place in the elementary school back in 2013; also the movie theatre shooting that took place in Aurora Colorado in the year 2012.  These young white boys were not killed when officers arrived on the scene instead they were arrested and face trial. So why are all these young black men and boys that are not killing anyone being treated so unfair and un-jus.  https://soundcloud.com/tiofficial/new-national-anthem-feat-skylar

Stop the Militarization of Local Officers

Image
The Senate arms program is currently reviewing the Weapons transfer program to evaluate how these weapons are being used. Officers in Missouri is currently using military grade weapons on protestors. They are treating the citizens as terrorist in their own country. These weapons were not made for protesters rather for a battle field. There are many reasons why these weapons should not be in the arms of officers and many reasons why they should. They started distributing these equipment in 2012 and then suspended it after they realized that equipments were going missing. Among these military grade supplies are armored personnel carriers, mine-resistant ambush protected vehicles, M-4 rifles, assault rifles, rubber bullets and pepper spray rounds - which is clearly showing local law enforcement being militarized. The program was then continued in 2013 and now the law is being reviewed. The fact that these weapons we

Everyone believes in their individual beliefs. Everyone fights for what they believe in. No two people have the same ideas or beliefs thats what makes us individuals. Anyone can talk a good game but not everyone can back up their words, seems like this has become the way of life. Somethings are impossible for people to believe in and yet people find ways to prove one another wrong. There are things that are out of your control yet again there are things that can be controlled but for you not to do your part it's not reflecting on anyone but you. The Mike brown Ferguson case took off and so many had so much to say. Yet not many was really proactive about it. There were protest and rallies for this young man. Many were out showing their support and the rest were home behind their computers talking a good game with no action. The family was collecting donations for the mike Brown funds and they were unable to surpass

I wonder how does a lot of people feel knowing that there are no billionaires in Hip Hop! Well for all who got excited for Dr Dre when he sold beats thinking he was a billionaire sorry to burst your bubble but he just did not make the cut. Many thought that in selling beats that Dr Dre would become a billionaire and as time will have you see that is false. Hip Hop has been around for decades and so many people come and go within this game. Some no longer living the rest well sorry to say they just did not make the cut. With the money market being what it is today. It is unclear as to why there aren't any billionaires in Hip Hop. Many are confused and flabbergasted that there is yet to be a Hip Hop mogul with B boy stats. With that said who do you think will become the first B Boy of Hip Hop? The Forbes list is out and guess who is raining champ on the list? No other than Bad Boys own Sean "Pu

Complementing Your Ankle

Image
Ladies Ladies Ladies! you're accessories are always a must. One particular accessory I feel that you can absolutely not go wrong with is an anklet. Anklets are vintage, not too many people in this day and age wears anklets. The younger generation aren't hip to it either. It seems as if they have become taboo.  We as women do not understand how we can bring life back to body jewelry. Your anklet is always a sexy addition to almost any outfit and compliments your ankle. They go great with heels, flats, or sandals. They are a small yet sleek piece of jewelry.

Through the confusion of Micheal Browns' murder there is still unjust crimes taking place across the country with young unarmed black men still losing their lives. It is bad enough that these black men are being stereotyped for who they are but for them to be murdered and nothing done is entirely too much.                                                             LAPD traffic stop turn deadly with 37 year old Omar Abrego. Two sergeants stopped him in a traffic stop where he was allegedly beaten to death. Witness says they beat him with both fist and buttons for 10 minutes.
