Bring Back our GIRLS...........

Image
Protecting a child is something a lot of people take lightly. We take many things for granted in the united states. There are so many countries that does not have the privileges that we have. Yet we do not study anywhere or anything but ourselves. In china girls are not as valuable as boys and many end up dying of starvation. We may not be a perfect country and we have our issues as any other country. One thing that we forget is at the end of the day we are all human and at some point or the next we all may need help or protection from somewhere. We can not make it on our own guidance and assistance is given some where by someone.    We have children on missing posters here almost everyday. Our children are our future why do we not treat them as such. You have pedophiles who pray on the weak which are our children. They can not protect themselves only we can protect them. Yet a lot of people do not do their jobs and play there roles. I know usually you see a child on the street and t

President Clinton to Open Town Hall on Prescription Drug Abuse at Johns Hopkins University

Image
Prescription drug abuse has been at an all time high for the last decade. No one can really say why or how this epidemic has gotten so big, but there are people who fight against drug abuse everyday. It is at an all time high amounts teenagers and it has not slow down nor does it look like it is going to stop. Prescription drugs can be very addictive if not taking responsibly and in moderate portions. Parents put their drugs down around the house and they do not expect that the child might pick it up and be curious as to what the medication is for, or what it might do to them. Help protect the children and yourselves and get as much information and education as you can on this topic and the prescription that you may be given by your doctor. Town Hall to focus on solutions to the prescription drug abuse epidemic; Today Show correspondent Dr. Gail Saltz to moderate a panel discussion with United States Senator Amy Klobuchar,  FDA Commissioner Margaret  Hamburg, Former Congress

Statement from President Clinton on the Passing of Senator Harlan Mathews

Image
Harlan Mathews like any other political party has done his time in politics. He spent 10 years that he dedicated to progression inside of the political world. He was a friend to President Clinton and Al Gore. He stayed true to his principals and  beliefs as Tennessee's senator and the vice president of the united states he is now dead at the age of 89. The family representative stated that he died from a brain tumor and President Clinton wanted to  express and address his feelings and send out his sympathy to the family. President Clinton States:  Harlan Mathews was my friend, and extraordinary public servant, and a true gentleman respected by democrats and Republicans alike for his masterful knowledge of policy and his principled, honest dealing. In addition to his nearly half-century of service in Tennessee, I will always be grateful for the years he spent in the Senate, during which made our nation more prosperous and safer. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, Harlan'

David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. Bones anyone?

You’re directing the finale, David.  Can you kind of talk about doing that and then, Emily, about being directed by David?                            Well, it’s always a challenge to take on something like the season finale.   There’s – you know, you get to the end of the season and then everybody’s, you know, a little tired and worn out and, you know, the patience is thin, and with this specific season finale being that there was so much information that we kind of had to gather up and put out there in one 45-minute hit, it made it, you know, difficult and challenging.   There were lots of elements that were involved, whether it was, you know, dealing with the big, huge hearing in front of Congress or the intense battle between other forces that could come in and jeopardize Bones and Booths’ relationship as well as the outcome of where they’re heading into as far as season ten is concerned.  So you take all that into account and it definitely is

Motivation

Image
When you have someone supporting you it means more than a lot of things you can ever think about. You can support yourself, work hard and put all you have in what your trying to accomplish, but when someone is behind you telling you that you are doing the right thing. Keep working on you and what you're trying to accomplish. If they support you 100% and tell you that you should continue on your quest it can mean more to you than what you are trying to make happen. That could possibly be the motivation that you have been waiting for or the motivation that you have been needing. That driving force behind can make the world seem as if it can be conquered. We all go through things in life, meet people that come into your lives to teach you a lesson and keep it moving. Then you have the ones that are there to make you better, also you have those that are there to make it worse. Sometimes when its time for us to choose we do not know what direction we should go. We choose the wrong not

President Clinton Address Inequities in Childhood Obesity.

It is okay to let your children learn about junk food and indulge in it. It is also okay to monitor what your children eat. Many parents forget to treat a child as a child and not as an adult, so they lose their handle on the child at a very young age. Children are suppose to be the future on our countries they will lead the way for other children to come. What you teach them and how you grow them is of utmost importance. What they eat affect their health, taking things away will put them in a place where they feel that now they have to over indulge when they are out of your site. Learn to be fear and reasonable when it comes to proportions and what your child can consume. Do not try to band things from them or tell them that they can not have certain things. Instead show them what the difference is in how they consume foods and always keep them active. There is no specific way to do things you just have to take certain things you do and how you do it into consideration.

President Clinton speaks on Jim Oberstar's Death

Image
Losing someone is always hard no matter who you are. We are not here to stay we are strangers to this planet. So please stop taking life for granted and go out and something that you want to do that you are yet to do. This may sound cliche but it is true. Nothing here is for you and can not be taken with us so  appreciate  people more and materials less. We have come to live for materials instead of actually really living for life. I was saddened to learn of the death of Jim Oberstar. Besides being Minnesota's longest-serving Congressman and a legend to his constituents in the Iron Range, Jim was a devoted friend and supporter of the Haitian people. I relied on him for advice on Haiti first as President and again after the terrible Haitian earthquake in 2010.  Jim was a good friend, a true and tireless public servant, and I’ll miss his great energy and big heart. My thoughts and prayers are with Jean and his entire family.
