Every Day's Journey

In our society these days our shoes say more than our mouth, hair, make-up or anything else we can think of. When someone looks at you on the street, job, school, events etc. The first place their eyes go is to your feet and then back up to your face. It use to be from your head to your toes. Now, these days it is total opposite. So I say, hey! Look at my shoes tell me how nice they are, how much you like them/ hate them, or better yet rate them if you like. Me personally I love shoes so do not be offend if you catch me looking I might just find your pair of shoes to be awesome, pretty, cute or just plain hot. So do not be afraid to parade your shoes and use them to define you or your "fit" for the day.

This skin is my skin and I am happy with the skin I am in A black woman with a touch of golden brown I love my skin  Because it's not perfect  My nicks and nacks from carelessness The way my hips sway when I walk down the street  My arch in my back to my round breast Oh yes my skin is flawless  From the knit of my brow to the puckering of my lips It can cause distress  When I put my brown eyes on you  Don't get intimidated from my intense stair  Just know that approach if you dare! 

We all carry feelings for something. Past wounds hurt us the most. Everyone will claim that they are over something or that this thing no longer bothers them. When it still affects them in a way they cannot speak about. The thing that we all forget to do is to forgive. Not forgive those that hurt us but the act that they have committed against us to bring that pain. Apart of healing is being able to face your demons no matter how much it hurts. Sorrow weights heavy and that is not the weight I am trying to carry. Depression should not have a space in your life neither should having a bad day. I do not have bad days I have bad moments. Being able to control your mood and how your day goes is one of the best things in life. Apart of being able to do so is to humble yourself and for once not let your pride make you feel like there are things you have to do to please people. No two woman or man view things the same. Everyone can interpret things differently. You can put about ten people in front of a piece of art work and each of them will tell you they see something different. With something like art, it is said that we the people are art and that art imitates life. Creativity is inevitable. You as a person may not want to call it art, but to a person with artistic views it is life. Everything you can generate a thought from you can bring life to.   Inspiration can come in any shape or form. What may be inspiration for you is not for another and vise versa. To be able to pin point something that you can claim as beauty or profound is not easy. Being an artist is about the work that you are able to deliver or the ideas you can create but even if you dream it and create it; not everyone can view it as you do. To all my shoe lover's out there. There are so many shoes and so little time, but even for those who are new to this thing called "the shoe game" or "the shoes life". How ever you would like to label it. Wether it's a day at the office, a date night, a night out with the ladies or casual meetings you can not go wrong with these beauty's by Betsey Johnson. Lips are  definitely not taken serious enough. When it comes to you creating the right look with the right outfit lips can either make or break your outfit. You can be doing too much or you can be doing too little. If your not fond of lipstick I will advise you to not go too loud with the c olor, especially if your eye shadow or blush is loud as well it can absolutely kill the look you were going for and you wouldn't want that now. Would you? So my slogan is: The right lips can change anything. I say that because it usually does. The thing about New York is we are one of the fashion capitals in the world. When you think runway high fashion, you think the city that never sleeps. Well welcome to the concrete jungle where not everything goes but every fit is entitled to judgement day  A.K.A fashion police and for those lips you will be judged.  So ladies let those lips make your outfit not break it. I have been wearing acrylic nails from the age of sixteen. I would get my nails done once sometimes twice a month so that I would be able to maintain them. Some people may think getting their nails done is a waste of money, but honestly it is not. That is just my opinion but I know the dynamics of what I am saying.  You do not have to get acrylic tips or even a permanent French manicure. You can get a gel manicure or a regular manicure. I know that when I am shaking some ones hands or if someone reaches to give me something the first thing I look at are their hands including their fingers. Correct me if I am wrong but if someone's nails are well done, do you not compliment them on it? Pampering yourself should never be a second thought. I think that mani and pedi should be part of females hygiene. This way you won't have to run to get your nails done at last minute for a date or an event.
