Sean Combs R.I.C.O Trail Has Commence!

The first week of Sean Combs trial is coming to an end with so much to unpack from this trial and this case. There was a total of three witness that took the stand this week and they have each given you a glimpse into the life of Sean Combs as far as his behavior and what it was like being around him during a time that had a high level of stress for the people who was witnessing him in his element. Of course there was a lot to discuss with and there are so many thoughts that has to be processed and managed accordingly. In the presence of the court room there is not much that you are able to see outside of what the sketch artist has compiled for the public to see. In federal cases there usually are no camera's welcome inside the courtroom and the limited amount of people are able to enter and be apart of the trial and the case that is being presented to the judge. 

The entire process had everyone on edge because the juror selection did not seem to be coming along very well due to how hard it was for them to select a jury of his pears to be tried by. However they were able to select the jurors and get the case on the way. The first person to testify was the security guard from the hotel that was released by CNN of the horrific beating that Cassie endured in 2016. He spoke to the jurors about what he came upstairs for and what took place after he arrived. Stating he came up for a call about requiring assistance on the floor for retrieval of Cassie's belongings. This turned into a conversation with Mr. Combs asking him to get rid of the vide surveillance and offering him a form of payment in order for him to do so. 

The case preceded with Mrs. Ventura taking the stand for two days; detailing events that has taken place between her and P. Diddy. Speaking about where they went, from city to city; flying in various sex workers in order for them to have, what a larger percentage of people have come to know as Freak Off's. She also spoke about the drugs that were involved in these sessions; how she would pass out and suffer from dehydration after being subjected to days of labor in order to perform in these freak offs. Cassie spoke about what it felt like emotionally constantly having to manage being in a sexually draining relationship. She spoke about the side effects and the mental affects that were suffered and how emotionally numb she had to become in order to survive the dark times. Cassie spoke on how she would get beat during the freak offs if Sean was not happy with what he was seeing of the scenes she had to play in. She also explained why he required such large amounts of baby oil and how much of an obsession that it became to have such a significant amount of oil in his possession. There were the clean up crews that cleaned the rooms after they were finish and there would be a specific amount of damage done that could not be undone that Mr. combs paid for out of his pocket.

The last two days of the week the cross examination of Mrs. Ventura took place and her integrity was being questioned along with her ability to be a willing participant during the ventures of Mr. Combs. Almost all the social media outlets online are attempting to keep up wit the case and form a conclusion. The issue is that a case like this does not come with an easy conclusion based on how many are able to understand court on a local level verses court on a Federal level. It is a slightly different field from the state level. During the cross examination Combs lawyer brought out old text messages that they wanted to review with Mrs. Ventura these older text messages were presented by the defense late in a way to ambush the prosecutors. However it did take away from the time that they had to cross examine Cassie due to the fact that they wanted to go through almost all of these text messages in a tactic to exhaust the witness. The judge did not allow an extension to question Cassie due to the fact that she is pregnant and very far along into her pregnancy, and the time allotted could not be extended because the defense wanted to squander their time previously instead of making the time that they had count. Their mistake was believing that time would be extended due to the argument they brought to the judge when enough time was already given by both teams to get their questions in order.

The last person to take the stand was Dawn fro the music group Danity Kane. She testified she witnessed an assault with Sean and Cassie in his kitchen of his Los Angeles home where he assaulted her with a skillet. She was left on the floor in a fetal position. She also testified that she was told that no one speaks about these incidents that take place on the compounds of this house because people come up missing when they start to speak to anyone outside of the compound. No cops were called for this incident, which speaks to the power and control that Mr. Combs was able to maintain with the people around him.
