New Orleans Prisoner Escape and The Man Hunt!
It has been several days since 10 men have escaped the Detention Center in New Orleans. As of now there are 5 of the inmates that has been captured and 5 that are still on the run. As the investigation progresses and the case continues to unfold the employee was responsible for assisting the escape has been arrested. A Janitor that was on shift claimed he was threatened by inmate Messy before they escaped. He claims he was told to turn the water off for the toilet in order for them to rip the toilet off of the wall and cut through a bar on the wall behind the toilet. This employee stated he was in fear for his life due to the threat of being shanked by the inmate; he claims this is what made him follow the directions that was given. The prisoners then ran to a back door and ran out fleeing across what seems to be a highway. As time progress it will become harder to find these criminals according to police and what they know about finding escaped prisoners. The longer it takes to pin them in a approximate area and locate there ware about the harder it becomes to track a trail. The police officers who were involved in the search and the man hut they had a 7 hour delayed start. This means that the prisoners had a 7 hour head start in their escape ploy.
The situation has began to unravel as more people from the detention center has been suspended and put on leave for the investigations that are being done. There were also two women who were arrested for assisting the inmates in staying free. one of the woman her car was used as the get away car; her name is Cortnie Harris and the other assisted in getting food for Cory Boyd while he hid from police; her name is Corvantay Baptist. The officers who are on the case believe that the prisoners who are still on the run, it is very likely that they are still within the area of New Orleans as the first 5 where found in the near by area. They do believe that there may be a group of 3 that are still together if the remaining 5 are not.
