UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach Hosts Online Viewing Room and Extensive Live Programming

 

 

Fair Dates:

Wednesday, December 2 – Sunday, December 6, 2020

VIP Preview on Tuesday, December 1 at 11am EST

 

  • In addition to exhibiting 60 galleries from 30 cities in 18 countries, UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach OVR will host a selection of live panel discussions taking place on Zoom and social media platforms.

  • Organized by UNTITLED, ART‘s Artistic Director and Curator Omar Lopez-Chahoud, the 2020 edition of the fair focuses on Contemporary Artists from the Caribbean, spotlighting artists and organizations from this region, who are creating innovative and important work across the globe. Leadership from nonprofits and groups including Teorética Costa Rica, Caribbean Art Initiatives, and the forthcoming Kingston, Jamaica-based Museum of Contemporary Caribbean Art will be included in live-streamed programming during the week.

  • UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach will continue to maintain relationships with its cultural partners across the city of Miami, including The Bass, El Espacio 23, and ICA Miami, among others, as well as provide support to local nonprofits which often rely on an influx of tourism this December art week. 

  • UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach OVR is designed by Artland, which recently partnered with UNTITLED, ART to release the world’s first virtual reality art fair. While not powered by VR technology, UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach OVR still leads with innovations to the traditional OVR experience, including a navigable floorplan that offers a sense of orientation to the online fair, high-definition computer-generated visuals that show perspective and scale, and interactive chat capabilities with galleries.

Politics As Usual Or Is It?

                                                  As the fight for equality and justice continues, many have opinions on things that should take place during this time and through this era of life; with former President Trump facing his third indictment and Governor DeSantis loosing his backing and support from investors. It leaves most to wonder what is taking place in the political parties, there level of professionalism and the image that they portray to the citizens of this country. There is also the issues that are not being fully spoken about on news channels, issues such as current President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden being under investigation for his ties in Ukraine and the damaging information that was found on his computer. The fact that it was said that he plead guilty to these charges that were brought against him in federal court about his business practices does not seem to touch the air ways in the manner that it should.
