Whether working within the functional logic of lighting, seating, or shelving, or with mirrored or textile surfaces, Stout recasts the domestic world in her own, singular way—the effects being both absurd and abject, playful and sinister. Mitchnick:  Dog Show . The gallery will host an opening reception on  Saturday ,  October 28  from   6-8PM . The works will remain on view through  November 25 . Sarah Meyohas’s  Cloud of Petals  Premieres on NOWNESS (NEW YORK — October 13, 2017) — An exclusive preview of artist  Sarah Meyohas ’s  Cloud of Petals  premieres today on  NOWNESS  in celebration of the artist’s new solo exhibition at  Red Bull Arts New York . The full  Cloud of Petals  film is now on view at  Red Bull Arts New York  through  December 10 , along with a mosaic of over 3,000 rose petals, sculptures made out of the walls salvaged from  Bell Labs , and a virtual reality experience. NADA Announces Ice Palace Studios as New Location for NADA Miami The Fifteenth Edition of the Fair Returns to its 2004-2008 Venue (MIAMI — September 21, 2017) —  The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA)  is pleased to announce  Ice Palace Studios  as its new venue for the fifteenth edition of  NADA Miami,  which will take place  December 7-10, 2017 . The venue change from the Deauville Beach Resort is due to damages suffered from an electrical fire which were then exacerbated by Hurricane Irma. “NADA is committed to producing a distinctive event in Miami for our exhibitors and the public. Hurricane Irma, Rebuilding After!

 After such a crazy year, it has been catastrophic events happening back to back. First Hurricane Harvey left Texas scrambling to put the pieces back together. Now Hurricane Irma is leaving six states putting their pieces back together. South Carolina, North Carolina, Atlanta, Alabama and Florida. When everything is said and have put the pieces back together it will be a lesson learned on every side. The government will learn to be better prepared for times like these and the citizens will do the same. There is no true way to plan for these events but you can prepare yourself to know that in case this happens again you will be more prepared to take better actions for you and your family.      Everyone in Florida has been on edge for the last five days. There were millions that evacuated and millions who stayed. Hurricane Irma threatened everyone in the area; people left their homes and went to shelter others went to family and friends house and the rest left the state in fear
