                                                                         Making strides, 27 year old college student Kelly Snider has decided to give back to young girls within her community. This is something that you do not see everyday. A woman who has no child of her own wanting to give to the younger girls within her community. She tries to do as much as she can to give back to the children who are not that fortunate to get all they are asking for, so she gives what she can to bring that little bit of joy to these young ladies.                                                                      Snider is apart of other events with children that is in her day to day life. She plans and sponsors youth co-ed easter hunts, summer cookouts, back to school giveaways, halloween parties/candy drops, thanksgiving activities, and christmas events every year for the last 6 years. She has been doing these things since the age of 21.                                                     

                         It is said that Tyler Perry and long time on and off girlfriend Gelila Bekele is said to be expecting a child. Perry has been said to have a long on and off relationship with Ms. Bekele for over five years now.  Perry was said to announce the news of having a baby at his 45th birthday party in Los Angeles. Though many say that he never said out of his mouth who was pregnant many automatically assumed it was Bekele.  It was also said by another online site that, for a man that builds his empire and plays on such strong family value; is not married yet he is still expecting a child. That's just to show you that there is no winning or losing here for anyone.  Congratulations to the couple and their baby that is on the way. 

                                                                               Music has and will always be an influential part of our lives. People always use music as a form of escape, drown out, release, meditation etc,. Music is life as we may know it. The mere beat to certain songs gets us moving and  grooving. Bodies react to beats naturally; where it is a sway, bop or nod of the head, tapping of the fingers so, on and so fourth. People know beats when they hear them and as it continues to play it can at times take over your body and mind. The fact that music will always be around should be embraced. Many frown upon certain music due to the content that is within the music. Which can bring you to a limited variety, kind of closed minded don't you think? Every genre has its explicit content and then the non explicit which has a milder touch. The underground rap music has been here and typically it is not going anywhere.                                                    As people we say a lot of things. We claim we want to do many things. Some are uncertain of where to begin. I say start where ever you can begin to make a difference. Starting things sometimes maybe the easiest part, but fighting all the way through gets a little more complicated.  This Sunday there will be an event held in prospect park. It is all about what you can do to assist with global warming. What better place to start than right here in your own backyard.  Headout to union square 14th street and show your support in finding ways to help stop global warming.                          

   Keke Palmer  KeKe Palmer has made history as the youngest talk show host and also becoming the first colored woman to play  cinderella on broadway. Not only is she the first colored woman she is also the youngest cinderella to play on broadway.  This is just to show all the young colored girls out there that dreams are always possible if you continue to work for it and strive for your success. Keke is also working on her music and trying to make a positive impact within her generation for other young woman.  There are always distractions in life and there are always things that will slow you down, People who will try to deter you from your goal and what you have set out to do; but if you continue to try and work hard then it can become something that is graspable within your reach. 

There was a recent out break in West Africa. The Ebola outbreak could eventually exceed 20,000 cases, That would result in more than six times the number that is currently know. This was stated by the world health organization. A new plan was devised by the U.N health agency. It is meant to stop the spread of Ebola. They are also assuming that the that the levels in poverty area can be higher than the numbers that they already have. If, he number is actually accurate.With suggestions that their can already be up to 12,000 cases already. The numbers that they are suggesting surpasses any historic outbreak number of Ebola. In the pass the largest case was about 400, this was told by "Dr. Bruce Aylward, who's assistant director-general for emergency operations. This is what is called a serious case of Ebola outbreak. There was a mention of a video that emerged online showing ISIS fighters escorting nearly 200 men, that were stripped down to nothing except their underwear, through the desert. An hour later their was another video that made it online with 150 men, that were also in their underwear, this time they were lying motionless. Presumed to be dead in a straight row in the sand. During this time the videos could not be independently identified or confirmed by the AP, they appeared to illustrate the claims that were made online by ISIS supporters and Syrian activists about the mass killing. "There were no immediate comments by Syrian government. Also, another American from the Minneapolis area has been killed while fighting for ISIS, this is according to his family and friends. His death followed the one of Douglas McCain, an american boy who grew up in Minnesota. He died fighting ISIS in Syria last week.
