GOVERNMENT OF HAITI, STATE UNIVERSITY OF HAITI FACULTY OF SCIENCES, AND CLINTON FOUNDATION ANNOUNCE $7.3 MILLION TO HELP REBUILD HAITI'S FACULTY OF SCIENCES The Clinton Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of Haiti and the Faculty of Sciences (FDS) at the State University of Haiti (UEH), announced $7.3 million in funding to rebuild the main building at the Faculty of Sciences in Port-au-Prince. The funding comes from a $5.5 million from the Qatar Haiti Fund, as well as a $1.8 million from a grant with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). UEH is one of Haiti's leading higher education facilities and the nation's largest public university. The project to rebuild the University has been considered a priority by the Haitian government. Before the earthquake in 2010, UEH had 18 campuses in and around Port-au-Prince, supporting approximately 40,000 students. Our democracy is eroding before us. The Supreme Court has made it easier to buy an election and much more difficult for ordinary Americans to vote in one. On October 8, 2013, the Supreme Court heard arguments for McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission. One wealthy donor – along with the Republican National Committee – asked the Supreme Court to let him put even more money directly into political campaigns. The limit was $123,000 – more than double the median income in this country. He wanted to be able to give more. Today, the Supreme Court shattered one of the last remaining campaign finance laws on the books, giving individuals the green light to give up to $5.9 million to influence our elections. Become an activist and fight for what you want not just take what the government has to give.

When you become honest with yourself, you start to see things clearly. When you lie your judgment will be clouded. It's hard to see straight when your thoughts are hidden behind lies for comfort. If you become more persistent and adamant with yourself about telling the truth it becomes natural like it is suppose to be. Nothing in life is ever easy. For some telling the truth is one of the hardest things that they will ever have to do.  Why do people lie? People lie because they are scared to face reality. They feel as if they won't be accepted for who they are. That if they lie to the person, the person will like them more, but what they fail to realize is that when you finally decide to tell the truth it might be what damages the foundation you were trying to build in the first place. The life is so exciting. No one thinks about repercussions for their actions. All they think about is the life they are living, but when judgement is cast by another they are unable to bare it. Judgements are mostly cast in the black community. We are not taught to look at ourselves in a positive way. We are taught to look down on ourselves. We live no different from any other race but yet we treat one another as if we aren't anything good. What do you want your legacy to say about you?  All the races are more judgmental now more than before, and that is due to the judgements that black people cast on everyone. So now it is being adapted everywhere. With the indian people the judgment that was cast, was the way of living the lower class who had to do the filthy work verses the middle and the upper class. You can find that here and every where else in the world. Now as their children become more adaptive on the american lifestyle, their family is becoming a bit more judgmental
