Book of the Week.
So my book of the week is 50 essay. It is a very good book. I am not 100% finished with the book. I am currently reading it for my english class. It is filled with different stories about different writers and their experiences with different things in life. It is majority black authors. The book was put together by Samuel Cohen. Within the book you can find Zora Neale Hurston, James Baldwin, Audre Lorde, Maya Angelou, Brent Staples, Richard Rodriquez and many more. It is a variety of short stories being told by these authors. Open your mind to this book and give it a chance. Read it and let me know what you think of these authors and their stories that they are telling. Also if you have already read the book i would still like to know your thoughts and opinions on the book. Try walking in their shoes as they tell their stories. Try to experience their lives with them as you read. Take yourself on this journey and let yourself enjoy the book.
